The Highland Inn Ballroom Lounge is a unique staple of Atlanta's nightlife and music scene. Built in 1927 the Ballroom Lounge is nestled directly below The Highland Inn. Most of the original splendor of the space is well preserved, while keeping current with musical trends.
During the week the Ballroom offers a intimate candle lit lounge and as always, our huge outside courtyard doors are open for all the smokers. We offer a plethora of adult beverages at reasonable prices from behind our classic wooden bar - 6 days a week.
If you're looking for more than just a swill of grandpa's cough syrup, you can find some of Atlanta's most talented musicians preforming from our stage all weekend long, starting on Thursdays. However, when the live music stops it doesn't mean the party's over. There's plenty of room for "doing the hump" as the Ballroom transforms from a world class music venue into a booming dance floor featuring Atlanta’s hottest DJ’s.
You may be asking yourself " How can all of this be real!?!? ". Well... I guess you'll just have to come see for yourself... And don't forget! We are located underneath a hotel with 80+ rooms (The Highland Inn). So, if you've had too many cold beers and can't spell your ABC's upside downwards you can always spend the night with us!
